Screenshot from the soviet film "Ivanna" (made in 1959) at Dovzhenko's film factory (Ukraine).
It is a story about Ivanna , a girl hanged by the nazis .

The actress is Inna Burdutchenko (born in 1939), it was her first film and she died (burned alive) in 1961 when making the second film. It is a very sad story.

I could not get the film, but have the book about the real Ivanna

The b&w images ( Movie 1) were from a TV series called "Thriller" in the early 1960's hosted by Vincent Price. The episode was called "An Attractive Family" and the actresses first name was Joyce but I'm spacing on a last name. Leo G. Carol was also in the cast. Also Richard Long(?) from the series "The Big Valley."

The girl was to inherit what the family had already spent. Rather than be found out as embezzlers, they try to exploit one of her nightmares and make it seem like she was acting it out.

Movie# 8 is called "Slave Market", it is a german film that I would really
love to have. The site that sells it is in german and I believe it only sells it
in PAL format while I need the american format. If you locate this video
PLEASE tell me how to get a copy

HERE IS SOME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PICTURES POSTED ON THE 3VIRGIN SITE.

#2 and 4, from the episode 'Croque for a day' (Jack of all trades). Also
worth looking out for the episode 'seventy brides for one brother'
(chopping block scene).

#3 is from 'The woman they almost lynched' , with Joan Leslie in the noose.

#5 I think this actually may be from a French movie, but if it is, I don't know the name.

#9 is from 'Witchcraft', a UK tv movie. She is an actress playing a witch being hanged; but she's had the harness cut so that she is hanging for real with much kicking. She gets saved. (There are also images from this movie with another actress also with a noose round her neck as a witch.)

#10 is from 'Mortal Kombat: Conquest', the tv show; Kristanna Loken is the
actress, playing a regular character maybe called Taja. She's being
hanged from a tree as a pickpocket but is saved before hanging; wearing
this top and trousers, hands tied behind her back; she's saved and pulled
away with the noose still round her neck and her hands still tied.

#12 is from 'Nikita', the tv show, episode 'Toys in the basement'; she's suspended momentarily, and then saved.

The pictures at the top of the page include one from 'Lady Betty'. She
was a real irish 18th century criminal who was offered the choice of being
hanged or becoming hangwoman; she chose the latter. This picture is from
a stage play, not a film.

Here are some more recent movies to look out for; this in acknowledgement
of the work you put into the drawings and sites - thanks.

Swordfish. Halle Berry gets hung from a chain, some kicking, and is
saved.

Hangman. Three hangings of women (and two of men), last involves Madchen Amick in a nightshirt, hands tied behind her back, and involves much
kicking.

Captain Corelli's mandolin. Female character seen hanging from a tree
(executed as collaborator)

D-Tox. Hero's girlfriend is found murdered/hanged at the beginning of the
movie. Lots of other hangings, all men.

Goya in Bordeaux. Some of the scenes reproduce Goya's images from the
horrors of war, as tableaux with actors. This includes some women hanging
and being shot.

Battle Royale. One female character is found hanged.

On the subject of Russian movies... It's worth looking out for 'King Lear' directed by Kosintzev. There's a great shot of Cordelia hanging,
which I've never seen on the internet.

Ghosts of Mars. Clea Duvall gets decapitated on-screen in a fight (on dvd
we see more of this in outtakes), and Pam Grier gets decapitated
off-screen in an implied execution sequence - we see her (real) head on a
pole in closeup.

Resident Evil. On-screen 'clean' decapitation of a female soldier by
laser.

Dracula 2000(2001). Two decapitations of female vampires by sword.

The Lady and the Duke +The Affair of the Necklace. French revolution films, almost certainly have beheadings/guillotinings but I haven't seen them; the former has the Princess de Lamballe's head on a pole in a
publicity shot.

Conan the Barbarian just got re-released on dvd. Conan's blonde mother is
beheaded while standing (in a tight leather costume), and her head seen
later on a pole.

Faust, Love of the damned. Hero's girlfriend is put in a head-and-hands
pillory and spanked.

Some more scenes, from TV shows.

An episode of TV: Conan called (I think) The Legacy, has a princess dragged to chopping block and put her head on the block; then saved of course.
I've seen digital video capture of this, part of a trailer, on some website but I can't any more say where.

An episode of TV: The New Adventures of Robin Hood, has a bride-to-be in white bridal costume with a veil, sentenced to hang from drop gallows because she won't marry the evil sherrif; her fiance watches from a pillory. She is dropped through the gallows but an arrow cuts the rope.

An episode of TV: The Lost World , I think called 'The Outlaw' has the dark-haired heroine, played by Rachel Blakeley, wearing blouse and long skirt, handcuffed in front and taken to the gallows with a noose put round her neck. Vidcaps of this easily available on the web. Also worth looking out for the episode in which the blonde is put in the pillory, might be called 'Camelot'.

An episode of The Scarlet Pimpernel , with Richard Grant, second series.
This episode has a great-looking woman put TWICE into the guillotine, once at the
beginning and again at the end; lots of unsuccessful fallings of the blade (which has been fixed), with close up shots of her expressions. One of the best guillotine scenes ever (up there with Theatre of Death and Hercules: Les Contemptibles.).

Finally, here's a tidbit about the movie of Conan the Barbarian (look towards the end of the page), describing with picture a decap. sequence which never made it into the movie.

Hi friends

I have just finished shooting our latest video HV-8 "Eros & Thanatos".
This new video is dedicated to the fantasy of hanging and necrophilia and has two episodes.

In "The call girl", Miky a young prostitute is kidnapped and tortured by a maniac couple
(nipple torture and severe flogging), then is killed by hanging ( while she performs a "rope dance" she is pissing in her pants )
Finally both rape the lifeless body of the girl (very hard !).
At the end the corpse is mummified and hidden in a wardrobe.

In "The infanticide" (the third part of famous series called "The Prison of Shame"), we see Liv , our new model from Sweden, denounced by her husband that she had made an illegal abortion (capital crime). Arrested and taken to a women's penitentiary by inspector Kruger, where the sadistic director subjects her to a severe spanking to make her confess her crime. Then she is dressed in the orange prison overall , photographed, her fingerprints are taken and she is taken to her cell in the death row . After her execution by hanging, her lifeless body is raped by a director of the prison.

The video has subtitles in english language.
